The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are. UNKNOWN

I understand firsthand the struggles and fears that accompany the road to recovery. I also know the joys of what recovery offers. I believe that we all have setbacks in life, but we can turn those setbacks into comebacks. Success is possible when you work with someone who has walked in your shoes and can guide you to that light at the end of the tunnel. With support, compassion, maybe a little “tough love” and accountability, I provide strength-based life and recovery coaching. I will help guide you to re-discovering yourself.

What is Coaching?

Coaching is not therapy, and coaches do not assess people. Coaching is strength-based and action-oriented with a focus on the present and the future. The relationship between coach and client is collaborative, with coaches acting in a guiding, not directing role. Coaches can provide reality checks and serve as a change agent to assist you in identifying and achieving the goals you have chosen for yourself.

Who Recovery Coaching is for:

You have some experience in recovery and want to leverage your strengths to enhance your most authentic expression and ignite your best life.
You have discovered a discrepancy between where you are right now and where you want to be is a specific area of your life.
You are new to recovery or “Sober Curious” and want to learn more about your options.
You are a family member of someone with a substance use disorder or issues.

What Does a Recovery Life Coach Do?

A Recovery Life Coach acts as a partner in the recovery process. Whether a client is in the throes of addiction or already well into their recovery. You will be assisted throughout all stages of your recovery by being offered guidance, strength, and support.

The main purpose of the Recovery Life Coach is to improve life and reach goals. Together, the coach and client will come up with a plan and specific objectives. Coaches discuss what the clients want to talk about.

Services a Recovery Life Coach Provides:

  • Working with the client and their family to find appropriate resources for initiating and maintaining recovery.
  • Minimize the obstacles to recovery by identifying challenges to and opportunities for long-term sobriety.
  • Offering support to the addicted individual and their families as they enter and progress through treatment and recovery.
  • Assist in post-treatment maintenance of sobriety by directing the recovering addict to appropriate resources and support systems.
  • Financial management issues and skill building.
  • Repairing relationships.
  • Self-care (anxiety, stress, and more).
  • Goal setting.
  • Time management.
  • Job transition and resume building support.

Through your generous donations, we are able to provide free recovery coaching services and therapy journals to those in need.  Please consider giving back.
